NNSDO Scholarship from Western Governors University

  • Western Governors University is proud to offer the WGU National Nursing Staff Development Organization (NNSDO) Scholarship. This scholarship, valued up to $2,000, is available for NNSDO members looking to earn a WGU online bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in nursing or healthcare.  To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must be: an active NNSDO member and be willing to participate in NNSDO activities; filled up an application for admission and free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and be officially admitted to WGU.

Danville Community College Nursing Scholarships

  • Applications are currently being accepted for scholarships by the Danville Area Community College Foundation.  Part-time and full-time students who will be attending DACC are eligible.  First-time DACC students, recent highs school graduates, and current DACC students are encouraged to apply.  The DACC Foundation Scholarship Application allows students to complete one application to be considered for all available Foundation scholarships.

Minnesota State University Mankato Nursing Scholarships

  • Over the years, several people have contributed to and nurtured the growth and development of the School of Nursing of Minnesota State University.. These contributions have resulted in significant endowed funds used for scholarships and awards that have been established to support the education of nursing students. In addition, nursing alumni and School of Nursing faculty have also contributed to these funds. Scholarship and awards are awarded as these funds become available. Scholarships/awards are listed here to facilitate the student’s application process.

Air force ROTC Nursing Scholarships

  • Air Force ROTC has nursing categories for students wanting to become an Air Force nurse.  The Nursing Scholarship program is operated on a noncompetitive basis – those who meet the qualifications are awarded the scholarship and do not meet a scholarship selection board. The processing of the scholarship award is completed at the local detachment.
  • To be eligible to apply for a Nursing Scholarship, an applicant must be: a United States citizen by the end of the projected term of activation; pass the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test; Pass the Air Force ROTC Physical Fitness Test; have at least a 2.5 cumulative college grade point average; Complete a physical examination and be certified as commission -qualified by the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board; not already be a contracted scholarship recipient; meet the age, moral and other scholarship eligibility requirements; and be a sophomore or junior, majoring in Nursing at an NLN or CCNE accredited college or university.

Navy ROTC Nursing Scholarships

 Rehabilitation Nursing Scholarships

Regency Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers Scholarships

  • Scholarship will be awarded in the amount of $2,500.00. Scholarship applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria: Must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher; must major in a healthcare related field; must be an employee of Regency Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers, Inc., one of its affiliates or one of its managed nursing facilities; or have a parent employed by said companies;  must submit an official transcript with application: • GED certificate, high school transcript or college transcript (submitted from highest level of education completed within the last five years);  must attend a regionally accredited college or university;  must submit a picture with application.

Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital Scholarships

  • Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital established a scholarship at John Tyler Community College to assist nursing students. The scholarship is to be used to cover tuition, books and fees.
  • In exchange for these scholarships, the recipients will be offered opportunities to work at Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital while progressing through the nursing program and must commit to working for Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital after graduation for 2,080 hours per year of scholarship funding.  The following criteria must be met: completion of a scholarship application; must be a full-time or part-time student; must be enrolled in the Nursing Program (may be enrolled in pre-requisite courses); and agree to a personal interview with Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital personnel before the scholarship is awarded.

Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital Nursing Scholarships

  • Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital and Worcester State College (WSC) recently established a partnership to meet the increasing area demand for graduating nurses with bachelor’s degrees.  In response to the shortage of nurses in Massachusetts, Fairlawn has awarded a $50,000 grant to the Worcester State foundation to provide scholarships for nursing students who commit to at least one year of service to Fairlawn upon graduation from WSC.
  • Up to five $3,000 scholarships will be awarded annually.  Additionally, the creation of the Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital Clinical Excellence Award will provide $250 ward annually to a graduating nurse.

WOCN Society Advanced Education Scholarship Program

  • The WOCN is fortunate to offer healthcare professionals looking to advance their careers different scholarship options. Scholarships are reward twice annually and are reviewed by a dedicated group of WOCN members.
  • Scholarships are awarded to deserving individuals committed to working within the wound, ostomy and continence nursing specialty. Applicants agree to support the WOCN Society philosophy and scope of practice. The WOCN Society does not discriminate among applicants on the basis of age, gender, race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation or marital status.
  • Scholarship applicants must be accepted into a WOCN Society Accredited Nursing Education Program. Scholarship applications are accepted twice yearly and must reach the WOCN Society National Office by the deadline dates of May 1st or November 1st. Applications may be submitted before program begins, during program or by the first application deadline immediately following graduation.
