We just launched a new $5,000 scholarship, exclusively for US students pursuing a degree that will help combat nursing home abuse (full scholarship details at: http://www.nursinghomeabuse.net/).
The scholarship will cover non-tuition related expenses such as rent, childcare, textbooks, utilities and groceries for the 2012-2013 academic year.
The application window is January 15th through February 15th.

- Created by NursingHomeAbuse.net, this scholarship is awarded exclusively to an applicant who is pursuing a career that will help combat nursing home abuse.
How much is the nursing scholarship worth?
- A $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution. This scholarship will help pay for non-tuition related expenses for the 2012-2013 academic year. Such expenses can include but are not limited to:
- Rent
- Childcare
- Travel/Gas
- Books/Supplies
- Utilities
- Groceries
How do I apply?
- Download and complete the Scholarship Application Form. Answers can be typed or hand written. Please print clearly for all hand written applications. All applications must be printed out and signed. (Please note that applications must be legible and printed clearly).
What to do after I fill out the application
- Once you have completed your application, scan and submit it via email to this address: NHAScholarship@educationaid.org. Use the subject line, “Nursing Home Abuse.net – Scholarship.”
Important Dates:
- January 15th, 2012 – Education Aid, Inc. will start accepting applications for the scholarship
- February 15th, 2012 – Application deadline
- May 31st, 2012 – The recipient of the scholarship will be selected and notified
- September 1st, 2012 – Scholarship funds will be awarded to the winner
